Sharing Good Recipes: Kahlua Pork

This week I cooked with a product I've seen before but never actually used...Liquid Smoke.  It gives such a wonderful flavor to meat that I am sure to use it many more times in the future.  Again, this week's recipe was given to me by my friend Teri, who is an amazing cook and blogs over at PharmVille.  This recipe makes A LOT of food so it's great if you're cooking for a big group or if not put half in the freezer for another time.

Kahlua Pork
(1) small pork roast
(2) cabbage heads
(1) bottle liquid smoke
(1/2) bottle soy sauce

Cook roast in slow cooker w/ liquid smoke and soy sauce until done.  (Time depends on the size of roast)

Chop cabbage.  Spray (2) pans w/ Pam and cook cabbage over low medidum heat for about 10-15 minutes.  Pull the pork with a fork (this will be easy because it will be very tender), then pour pork and juices over cabbage and simer for 25 minutes.

I roasted some asparagus and made a pan of cornbread as side dishes, but mashed potatoes will make a good side as well.
