My Walgreens Back-to-School shopping (grand total $1.97)

So my two older boys start back to school this Thursday and I figured I'd better get their supplies.  I waited until the last minute, and their school supply list is two full pages.  I made a trip to Walgreens tonight to pick up a few things they have cheap.  I got everything you see above for only $1.97 total (including tax)Here's how I did it:

I went to Walgreens this past Sunday to get the toilet paper deal I posted about HERE.  With my $3.50 register rewards I made a second transaction on Sunday.

Sunday transaction #2:
Crayola Marker's (sale $2 get $2 RR)
newspaper $1
2 Crayola-on-the-Go ($0.49 each clearance)

Used $3.50 RR from toilet paper deal
spent $0.48 + tax out of pocket
Left w/ my $2 Crayola RR

Tonight's transaction
(2) Composition books ($0.59 each)
(2) 2-pack pink erasers ($0.29 ea w/ in-ad coupon)
(1) Fiskars scissors ($0.79 w/ in-ad coupon)
(2) packs BIC mech. pencils ($0.99 ea w/ in-ad coupon)

Used $1/2 BIC stationary found on Post Fruity Pebbles box
Used $2 RR from Sunday
Total out-of-pocket $1.97 including tax

I had hoped to get some of the No, 2 pencils that are on sale for $0.29 as well, but my Walgreens were sold out.  I was still extremely happy with the deals I got.  It's a great week at Walgreens!!
